P. learned a lot from Ms. Sofei, not only French. To me, learning a language is not just to learn words and grammars, but also to learn the culture behind it. Sofei made it. She is good at drawing and has a very good sense of art. P. French notebook is so pretty that I enjoy reading it too. She always have good ideas to make her class interesting and she is good at communicating with kids … 1 hour’s class is not long for her at all.  

Me myself have been learning French for 2 years, as an adult, learning French is a tough thing to do. I always think that if I had a great French teacher like Sofei when I was a kid, things would be totally different. 

I am very happy to plant a seed of French in Phoebe’s mind. Thank you for letting it grow, Ms. Sofei!”

Sofei is one of N.’s favorite teachers and he enjoys his class with her very much.

He is able to comprehend and converse in basic French dialogue. Sofei uses fun games and interactive ways of teaching to ensure N. understands the lesson each time.”

”My 3 years old daughter, Am. has been learning French with Miss Sofei.

Miss Sofei uses many self-making teaching aids and music throughout the class. Am. enjoys the class very much even though she couldn’t understand the new language at that time and actually she couldn’t fully handle her own mother tongue. But I was so amazed that Am. could follow Miss Sofei’s instruction in French just after a few classes.

Miss Sofei is also knowledgeable on other areas of children education. Whenever I have questions or doubt on taking care of Amanda, I will seek opinions from Miss Sofei. I am so interested in “baby sign” lately and I am thinking to use it on my 6 months old son, Gabrio. Miss Sofei is so helpful to provide me lots of information and source right after I asked her about it.

Miss Sofei is a lovely, caring and experienced teacher. When Gabrio gets older, I will have no doubt to let him attend the class with Miss Sofei.”
